Not everything is a win

Thought it might be important to note when things don’t go as planned. In the past couple days I have had a local band I love pull out of helping. I had spoken to them and they were very interested in composing a song but unfortunately they just got too busy. Something I totally understand and I am so glad they wanted to support. Also I have gotten more rejections lately regarding composers specifically for the subject matter being “too woke”. I respect everyone’s beliefs but I am quite proud to have been deemed too woke. None of these are major setbacks but I figured I have posted so much good news on this blog that it would be beneficial to anyone reading to know that it is always 1 step back three steps forward!
